ENTJ💞INTJ

ENTJ (Te-Ni-Se-Fi) + INTJ (Ni-Te-Fi-Se)

⚙️ ENTJ
🌌 INTJ

Potential for Conflict

Te: Both types tend to have a rigid conception of how the world should be. ENTJs are very action-oriented and are more likely to involve/insert themselves in external activities whereas INTJs tend to keep to themselves unless pressured by outside forces. So, ENTJs might view INTJs as too passive or self-absorbed, and INTJs might see ENTJs as too overbearing or controlling.

Ni: Both types are conceptual thinkers and seek out intellectual stimulation. INTJs tend to pursue knowledge to challenge themselves in terms of reaching a personal goal, whereas ENTJs tend to pursue knowledge for some external objective or purpose. Thus, ENTJs might view INTJs as impractical or stuck in their heads, and INTJs might view ENTJs as short-sighted or too utilitarian.

Se: ENTJs might use Se defensively to chase after recognition and success which might appear vain or superficial to INTJs. INTJs are often out of touch with the physical side of life and this can cause them to be a bit absent-minded about daily life/routines; this could annoy ENTJs who tend to be quite organized and structured.

Fi: Both types are often out of touch with their inner state, especially feelings and emotions. This will make it difficult to solve relationship problems because both have difficulty understanding/meeting emotional needs and are uncomfortable expressing their private thoughts. Both types could use Fi defensively to moralize or criticize unfairly.

Being extraverted, the ENTJ might put too much pressure on the INTJ to be active in the external world.

Opportunities for Growth and Balance

Reach an acceptable compromise about social events or activities. ENTJ: Realize that INTJs need plenty of privacy and space so do not pressure them to do things they are not comfortable doing. Give them warning about events so that they can prepare. INTJ: Realize that ENTJs are action-oriented people and need plenty of outside stimulation so be more willing to participate when you can.

ENTJ: Realize that INTJs are very independent people so do not get annoyed if they do not always want to do things your way. Be more flexible in your demands. INTJ: Realize that ENTJs value teamwork so try harder to accommodate them and give them a sense of cohesion.

Support each other in your interests. Be more open to each other’s advice. ENTJ: Take more time to learn about what fascinates the INTJ even if you think it pointless or a waste of time. Let them help you pause a little before making decisions too hastily. Help them put ideas into action. INTJ: Take more of an interest in ENTJ’s activities. Let them help you with planning or practical matters. Use your analytical skills to help them achieve a broader and longer term view of their plans/actions.

Explore some physical activities together like sports or honing a physical skill. Find time to relax together instead of being constantly focused on work. Find a project or challenge you can do together where you can combine your strengths/skills in a complementary way. This will help you feel closer to one another.

Communicate in a calm and reasonable way when conflicts arise. Avoid hurling blame, accusations, insults at each other. Take a time-out if situations get too emotionally charged so that you can think more objectively about the situation. Do not withdraw from each other during conflicts for too long or let problems fester unresolved.
